Try-It's

Try-It's are girl earned badges. We have a Try-It book to guide us as to what the girls should do to earn these badges. They are official badges and should be sewn on the front of the sash/vest.

2002-2003 Program Year

Playing Around the World Try-It
We have done the following four activities to earn this Try-It:
1. Kim's Game
2. Red Light, Green Light
3. Sheep & Hyena
4. Hawk & Hens

Travel Right Try-It
We have done the following four activities to earn this Try-It:
1. Be Prepared
2. Busy Kits
3. Scavenger Hunt
4. Pack it Up

All in the Family Try-It
We have done the following four activities to earn this Try-It:
1. Where are you from?
2. Draw picture of your family
3. Make gift coupons for everyone in your family
4. Family time capsule

MagNut Patches
There were 3 patches for the MagNut sale. These are earned patches so your daughter must have sold a certain amount to recieve these. All these patches go on the Back of her sash/vest.

Nut patch: for selling at least 5 cans of nuts
Paws to read patch: for selling at least 2 magazines
Be A Reader Address Adventure: Girls had to turn in completed STEP2 Booklets and participate in the activities during a troop meeting.
